Department of Teachers Education

The School's mandate is to plan, develop and launch academic programmes in Education as a field of knowledge and an area of professional practice.  It accommodates a wide variety of student needs, ranging from understanding the concept of education, to acquiring a higher level of specialization in specific areas of education.

Programmes on Offer:

Associate Degree in Education

This is a three-year program designed to prepare and develop skills and competencies required of in-service teachers.  Further, it seeks to prepare students to develop a critical mind, which can sense gaps in knowledge and find solutions to problems relating to the shortage of teachers in rural communities.
